MODALITIES USED

Working collaboratively using evidence based approaches

I believe in providing a safe and confidential space for my clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I work with my clients to develop a deep understanding of themselves and their relationships, and to identify and change patterns that are no longer serving them. I draw on a variety of theoretical orientations in my work, including psychodynamic, CBT, and DBT.

  • What can I expect from my first psychotherapy session?
Your first psychotherapy session will be an intake session. This session typically lasts around 60 minutes and is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for you to get a sense of my approach to therapy. I will ask you questions about your current concerns, your past experiences, and your treatment goals. This information will help me create a treatment plan tailored specifically for you. I will also explain my approach to psychotherapy and answer any questions you may have. Subsequent sessions range from 45 to 60 minutes.
  • How often will I need to attend psychotherapy sessions?
The frequency of your psychotherapy sessions will depend on your individual needs and treatment goals. We will discuss this together during your intake session and adjust the frequency as needed. Some people find that weekly sessions are helpful, while others may benefit from more frequent sessions.
  • What is the cost of psychotherapy?
The cost of psychotherapy varies depending on the length of the session and the frequency of your sessions. I will provide you with a fee schedule during your intake session. I accept cash, check, and credit cards.
